Onboarding, minus the paperwork
Yancoal wanted a shorter path from a new customer's first contact to a working account. The apps that carry someone along it run on SAP BTP with CAP on Node and HANA Cloud underneath, so steps that once sat in inboxes and spreadsheets now move through one place.
Compliance that checks itself
The most satisfying part happens where nobody watches. Using the SAP Business AI platform, the compliance vetting a person once did by hand now runs in the background, so a customer clears the necessary checks without a queue forming behind them.
The role
Leading an enterprise SAP build end to end meant as much time on the plumbing between services as on anything a user ever sees. This one is coal-mine back office, so there are no screenshots to show — only a slow, manual intake that got a good deal faster.
